The Importance of Father-Son Bonds

Elie is disgusted by the selfishness he sees around him. He sees many songs abusing their fathers. In order to save themselves, the sons are willing to sacrifice their fathers. Despite how much he hated everything the men in the camps were doing, Elie himself also sacrificed his father. His father's presence, though, allowed to him to keep strong, and want to live.

I think this picture shows father son bonding in a very humorous way. It shows that the son wants to be just like daddy. It shows that he looks up to dad, and very obviously loves him. I think this is appropriate because Elie did love his father very much, he even looked up to him. Elie did what he thought was best, if not they both may have died.
